MONTSERRAT
Not far away from Barcelona you will find in midst the mountanins the famous monastery Montserrat. 

Over a thousand years ago a mountaineer had a blinding vision of the Virgin Mary, who had become the spiritaul patroness of Catalonia.
Today about 80 Benedictine monks tend the building, most of which dates from the 19th century.
