| Every
year on June 24 is the celebration of "Sant Joan" in
Catalonia. It has a religious tradition. During our stay in Sitges we
enjoyed these festivities.
Highlight of this celebration is the
making of flower carpets the night before. They are made of grass,
flowers, coffeebeans, etc. The people start making it at midnight so
that early in the morning all the streets are covered by these
wonderful flower carpets.
